Fresh Start Program Supports Union County Residents in Need

Union County officials gathered at the Elizabeth Public Library for a monthly Fresh Start visit, which provides essential services to residents in need. Union County Chairwoman Kimberly Palmieri-Mouded and Commissioner Sergio Granados attended to support Human Services Director Debbie-Ann Anderson.

The Fresh Start unit operates between Elizabeth and Plainfield, offering mobile shower and laundry services to the population that requires assistance. In addition to these services, they also provide food and haircuts from local vendors. The program has been in place for several years, benefiting many residents who appreciate the accessibility of these resources.
