Celebrating Growth in Wake County's Latino Workforce

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is hosting a Lunch & Learn series titled "Wake Up!" in Wake County, North Carolina. According to a report from Wake County Government, the Latino workforce in the area has increased by over 250% in the past 25 years. Currently, 74% of new workers are Hispanic, highlighting significant growth and contributions from the community. Projections indicate that by 2050, one-quarter of the U.S. population will be Hispanic. The initiative aims to celebrate this growth and the diverse talents that are shaping the future of the nation.
