A frontal system is expected to move into the region midweek, bringing a 30-60% chance of precipitation across all areas from Thursday through the end of the week.

The forecast for the morning low and afternoon high temperatures is as follows:

• Baker City: Monday 16°F/34°F, Tuesday 18°F/36°F, Wednesday 18°F/39°F, Thursday 22°F/38°F, and Friday 26°F/39°F.

• Boise: Monday 22°F/40°F, Tuesday 23°F/42°F, Wednesday 24°F/44°F, Thursday 28°F/43°F, and Friday 34°F/47°F.

• Burns: Monday 13°F/38°F, Tuesday 13°F/40°F, Wednesday 11°F/41°F, Thursday 20°F/40°F, and Friday 26°F/45°F.

• Caldwell: Monday 20°F/39°F, Tuesday 20°F/40°F, Wednesday 24°F/42°F, Thursday 28°F/39°F, and Friday 26°F/42°F.

• Fairfield: Monday 11°F/31°F, Tuesday 15°F/38°F, Wednesday 19°F/42°F, and Thursday 24°F/39°F.

Residents are advised to be aware of changes in weather as the frontal system advances later in the week.
