Caldwell PD Hosts Mental Health Training for Heroes

The Caldwell Police Department in Idaho is hosting an event for first responders, military service members, veterans, and other frontline professionals. The event, called "Mental Health, Suicide Intervention, and Resiliency Training: Empowering Hope," aims to provide support and resources for individuals to thrive in their roles.
The event, titled "Courageous Survival Idaho Everyday Heroes," will include training on QPR (Question Persuade Refer), which focuses on gatekeeper suicide intervention. The training sessions will cover topics like resiliency, resources, peer support, and veteran crisis care and benefits.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 9am to 3:30pm at Central District Health in Boise, ID. Participants can register for all three trainings or choose specific sessions. Online attendance options are available for those unable to attend in person.
