Keep Three Feet Clearance Between Carts and Objects

Staff Report / BoiseLocal.org

The City of Boise has issued a reminder to residents about proper cart and leaf bag placement during collection days. Residents are advised to leave a minimum of three feet of space between their carts and other objects, which include leaf bags, vehicles, mailboxes, and additional carts. The city notes that when items are positioned too closely together, collection drivers are required to stop and physically move the carts to avoid damaging nearby objects. This practice can slow down service for all residents on the collection route.
