Caldwell is currently in the process of rewriting its Comprehensive Plan, a strategic document that will guide the community's development and growth for the long term. The plan will address essential areas such as land use, transportation, housing, economic development, and natural resources, while reflecting the values and aspirations of Caldwell's residents.

The public is encouraged to participate by submitting comments during the open comment period, which runs from November 18 to December 31. Residents can also attend an open house to discuss the plan and provide their input. The open house events will take place at the Train Depot on December 8 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and December 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
