Spooky Trails Event Celebrates 20th Anniversary!

Staff Report / Sanlocal.org

On October 12, Hellhole Canyon County Preserve in Valley Center hosted its 20th Annual Spooky Trails event. The event attracted 70 children and teenagers, along with 140 adults. Attendees participated in various activities, enjoyed a hawk presentation, and watched a Halloween movie.

Guests received snacks, and each family took home a pumpkin. Youth attendees also had the opportunity to win one of four bicycles that were raffled off, with donations coming from the San Diego County Sheriff and the George Bailey Detention Center.

Costume contests were held for participants, with awards for the Best Character, Funniest, Scariest, and Most Original costumes.

Additional Halloween events are scheduled to continue throughout the weekend and the month. Community members are encouraged to visit the event page for more details and activities in the area.
