The Nampa Bicycle Project is holding a helmet donation drive during the month of October. Residents are encouraged to donate new or gently used bicycle helmets to help local kids.

Drop-off locations for the helmet donations include:

- Nampa City Hall, 411 3rd St

- Harward Recreation Center, 131 Constitution Way

- Play it Again Sports, 2303 Caldwell Blvd.

- Rolling H Cycles, 1314 1st St S

- Cafferty's Cyclery, 220 12th St. S

The helmets will be cleaned and undergo safety checks before being distributed to those in need.
