Caldwell Honors Fallen Officer Carl Siegmann

CALDWELL, ID - The Caldwell Police Department is honoring the memory of Officer Carl Frederick Siegmann, who passed away on November 11, 1945, while on duty. Officer Siegmann was 57 years old and was married with four children. He had served with the Caldwell Police for one year.
On the day of his death, Officer Siegmann was walking his downtown beat at the corner of Kimball and Arthur when he was struck by a car.
A plaque dedicated to his life and service has been unveiled by the department, serving as a reminder of his contributions and the sacrifices of law enforcement officers.
Officer Carl Siegmann's service will be remembered and honored.
