Caldwell School District in Caldwell, Idaho, has announced that a power outage is impacting local schools. In response, Syringa Middle School and Washington Elementary School will end their school days early. Students will be dismissed at approximately 1:00 pm, with school buses scheduled to arrive at both schools to transport students home. Parents also have the option to check out their children at the front office.

For families needing after school care, the Boys and Girls Club will remain open. Additionally, a basketball game planned for Syringa Middle School has been canceled. Wrestling coaches will reach out to families concerning any changes.

The district is in communication with Idaho Power to monitor the situation and expresses appreciation for the community's understanding during this disruption.
